The national band “Tavois” was established on April 23, 2000 by Rosa Haydarova.
In 2001- the youth of “Tavois” band for the contributing to Uzbek music got state prize “Nihol”;

In 2002 May 20 - “Tavois” band have presented to admirers its first concert named “Dilkash navolar” at Uzbek National Academic Drama theatre.
“Tavois” band consists of 8-skillful musicians all of them are winners of several Republic competitions.
Melodies like “Nasrulloyi", "Chapandozi bayot", "Nasri segoh", "Eshvoy", "Xorazmcha terma", "Hayoli qiz" that were performed by this band filled the gold foundation of Radio of Uzbekistan.
Tavois is Arabic word which means Tavus (-peacock). The beauty of peacock and the iridescent of its feathers have been taken as symbolic meaning of band. Moreover, one listening it for the first time to ask for the second time “What?”, this name non-traditionally was thought up.
